These certifications must be done by a licensed structural engineer. To save you time and money, Main Inspections partners with State of Washington licensed structural engineers to complete this portion of your inspection.

Types of Certifications
Standard HUD Foundation Certification
With a standard foundation certification we need to inspect and verify that the foundation is permanent, the method of how the structure is tied down, and assess the grading surrounding the home.
Additions Certifications
Your lender may ask that any additions also be inspected and be certified. While there are some minor exceptions, for the vast majority of additions to manufactured homes should not be attached in a way that transfers any loads to the original structure of the home. This includes steps, porches, decks, and any other addition that has been added.
First Permanent Location Certification
Moving a manufactured home from one location to another can damage its structural integrity. nearly all lenders will want to verify that the home has not been moved. During inspection we look for common signs of movement.
